| Clinical Use | ABPA is a hypersensitivty disease of the lungs caused by Aspergillus fumigatus. It is an important complication for patients with asthma and cystic fibrosis. The ABPA 2 panel is the same as the basic ABPA panel with the addition of Aspergillus Precipitins. Recent reports have emphasized the importance of both the precipitin and quantitative IgG test for Aspergillus-specific antibodies. |
