Notes | Specimen Stability: Specimens that will arrive at the testing facility more than 7 hours from the time of collection must be centrifuged and the plasma/serum transferred to an aliquot tube. Specimen will be stored and transported refrigerated. Specimens that will arrive at the testing facility more than 24 hours from the time of draw must be aliquoted by transferring at least 500 uL of cell-free plasma to a storage tube. Freeze immediately at -20º C or colder. |
